Is granite expensive for Countertop?
Granite countertop is the recommended material. The cost of granite can be high. But you will find competitive price here. Its durability and varied colors makes it a material of choice.
Can granite Countertop spoiled?
Like other natural stones Granite can not spoil easily. However granite is natural stone and it requires proper care and maintenance. Unsealed granite can absorb stains. Hot pans do not effects granite countertop, but use trivets to prevent stains.
Will my granite be same as online sample?
Online samples are Digital images. These samples can be dissimilar from your original granite countertop. The colors may not be absolutely alike because two pieces of granite can not be same. Granite is natural stone and has variations in color, tone, patterns etc.
Can I cut on my kitchen Granite countertop?
Granite is harder then knife. If you use knife on granite, knife can be dull very easily. Do not use granite as a cutting surface.
How can I clean my granite counter tops?
Granite is less porous material among all other stones. It can not stain easily. But it also requires periodic sealant. Use mild stone cleansers, dish soap etc. Than rinse and dry it with damp cloth.
Granite can not burn so easily. But few colors may absorb moisture and most of the colors do not absorb. Usually no evidence remains after rinsing. Stone sealer is used for all granite after installation.
Does granite burns or stains?
It is not easy to get stain or burn, because granite is hardest material. It is very less porous also. If some water left on the granite counter top for few minutes it may show a dark spot. When water is wiped away this spot will then dry up and no mark will show. Expert installers will seal the countertops after they are installed.
